The sunset over Perranuthnoe this evening
After a day clearing in the garden, primping and preening the courtyards and gathering some of the "ullage" from the borders we were rewarded by a super sunset over Perranuthnoe tonight with the church silhouetted against the sea in that certain timeless way that Cornwall has. I took tonight's snaps from just outside of the garden room lingering for that last few minutes into the dusk to watch the sun slide away across the bay towards Land's End.
Super photos from your higher vantage point - do love the winter sunsets - they almost make up for the cold, damp and wind ! Sue
ReplyDeleteNice sunset shots you always get a better sunset image in cornwall this time of year.
ReplyDeleteThank you Keith and Sue - I read the Canon instructions (for using automatic!!) and focused on the sky for the light meter, so got the colours - come to think of it there was a booklet with the camera, i ought to read it and not let the camera do all of the work ......still! Beware the red sunsets though brrr
ReplyDeleteTake care and thanks for looking in Christine
