It was such a fabulous morning this morning that I took a minute to walk up the field behind the house and take a few photos of St Micheal's Mount and Mounts Bay - I've labelled our house roof to give an idea where we are on Mounts Bay but that is enough from me form now on enjoy the view and scroll on!
St Micheal's Mount of course - the pearl of Mounts Bay, with every house clearly outlined in Penzance across the bay
Our house roof again - looks as if the horse have been Dining in the shelter of the bank
so sometimes on Mount is just not enough!
Marazion is tucked in the corner of the bay

An beautiful and inspiring stroll, and different at every state of the tide. Love the sea, here is one of our favourites places; to see the contrast, www.whitbyweather.com and look under the webcams heading at Turnstone; and RHBMesh.
ReplyDeleteThe horses look as if you've walked past with a feed bucket, necks craned in anticipation perhaps! Soggy and wet here today.

Hi Mrs.G.H. Wasn't it beautiful - i crept up on the horse because a fox or badger had excavated so much earth from under the bank i was able to stand on top of the spoil heap and peep over the bank - usually I only get their noses if they see me as they all crowd around. So!! caught them unaware and don't their faces just show it! Thanks for the links - what a wonderful varied country we live in Take care Christinex p.s Spud toll yesterday 1 mouse 1 robin 1 rat - we rescued the robin!
