How to photograph a cat in seven easy stages

I spotted Spud perfectly positioned for a great sea view backdrop -
 watching
all of those wild life programs comes in handy at times

true he tended to nod off

but be explaining he needed to be awake

and so Spud positioned himself to block out the view completly

Perfect - cat and view but ummmm?

Cats rule OK

Give up and take a photo of a passing boat

and that concludes my short guide to photographing the cat!

  2. I should think that the dark slate is nice and warm, hence the smile on his face as he contemplates; it does look pure enjoyment, doesn't it.
Good weather this week and we finished combining the 20 acres that's been hanging about for 3 weeks. Annoyingly 1/2 an acre remains near the farm woodland where we sunk in 18" and had to stop, it'll still take a week to dry; sand land that's behaving like peat...so we are off out for a bacon sarnie breakfast this morning by the picturesque canal locks on Gringley Carrs next to a friend's farm. Narrow boats are an interesting diversion as they pass through....rush hour!

  4. Spud definitely led us a merry dance and just couldn't keep his little eyes open for long in the warmth. Glad you've nearly finished the harvest Mrs G.H. I've been watching the combines this week from purely an amateur perspective but more in my blog.
and yes you are right Abigail's Spud rules OK??!
