Tuesday in February

View from the lower garden gate across Mounts Bay to Penzance early this morning

The view over the far hills that separate us from St Ives from the top fields of Ednovean Farm
A remarkable new landscape was revealed with the dawn for West Penwith today, today the timeless landscape was outlined anew. The dusting of snow that first held the far moors beyond Penzance has crept closer now to grip us in her icy embrace, occasionally melting softly but then rallying again in a curtain of white that obliterates the sea and the sky.

Our little family of brood mares have spent their night safely tucked up in their nice cosy stables and so they were curious to explore this morning. Lizzie and April looked astonished this morning when Charles carefully wrapped them in their all enveloping rugs for their new adventure

Olley the cat is currently unavailable for comment on the weather but will be leading a feline focus group later in the month until further notice, he will still be at home in the invoice box in the office.
